In the last game of the regular season the Trojans travelled to Jyväskylä, a city in the middle of Finland, to play against the Jaguars. This game had no effect on standings any more but the Trojans wanted to end the regular season undefeated. It should have been an easy victory for the Trojans but that was not the case. The Jaguars put up a good fight and they led the game in halftime 14-7. The American running back of the Jaguars, Jabari Johnson, was unstoppable in the first half.
In the third quarter when things were going from bad to worse Scott Power made the key play of the game. He got an interception and ran to Jaguars 32 yard line. QB Brett Dietz threw the ball to WR Otto Junttila who scored a touchdown. The Trojans chose to try a two point conversion and RB Jari Veijola managed to run the ball to the end zone taking the Trojans back to the lead 15-14.
In the fourth quarter the Trojans´defense kept the Jaguars´ offense in check, WR Juha Virolainen scored a TD after Brett Dietz´s long pass and Jari Veijola ran the two point conversion to the end zone. The final score was 23-14 for the Trojans.Dietz diaries
